Damen Shipyards is a Dutch, family-owned shipbuilding company founded in 1927. Our philosophy of standardized shipbuilding, modular designs and building on stock have revolutionized the global maritime market over the past few decades. In Mexico, we are well-known for our collaboration with SEMAR (Mexican Navy) and the execution of joint (locally constructed) projects as well as our collaboration with leading maritime players such as Naviera Integral, Grupo TMM and Saam Smit (a.o.). With close to 70 Damen vessels delivered to the domestic market over the past 40 years, Mexico is a highly important market to our company and will remain having our prior focus and priority in the years to come.
