A recent project with a multinational company based in Guanajuato, illustrates our mission in action. The client faced a major challenge: large quantities of used agricultural film (LDPE) collected from fields, compacted into bales, and contaminated with up to 30–35% solid waste such as soil, stones, and other organic material.

Genox Mexico provided a turnkey recycling solution designed specifically for this application. The system receives entire bales, shreds them, and washes the film through multiple cleaning stages to remove all contaminants. The clean and dry plastic is then pelletized into new resin, ready to be reused in the manufacture of fresh agricultural film, closing the loop and significantly reducing the need for virgin material.

This project is a clear example of how recycling technology can drive circular economy practices in Mexico’s agricultural and industrial sectors.
