DESCRIPTION:For the 8th consecutive year\, Holland House Mexico joins the initiative to celebrate small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) through the Day of the Entrepreneur. This festivity takes place on the third Friday of November every year in the Netherlands\, organised by the MKB Nederland. \nThrough the Entrepreneur of the Year Award\, Holland House Mexico recognises the outstanding efforts of a Dutch or Mexican entrepreneur that has driven economic\, social and environmental progress in 2026. This year’s theme is: thrive in uncertainty. \nSelection Process & Timeline \nThe selection process consists of three rounds\, finalizing in an award cocktail: \nRound 1: Nominations (Open Now). Nominate an outstanding entrepreneur by sending an email to events@hollandhousemexico.com or via this form. You can nominate yourself. Deadline is October 30. \nEligibility Criteria: \n\nDutch entrepreneur or local SME in Mexico with a clear link to The Netherlands. (Must be an entrepreneur/CEO and not a director or manager for the SME)\nMust reside in Mexico\nEntrepreneurship with a demonstrable impact achieved on the Dutch/Mexican market.\nA sole proprietorship or small to medium-sized company (with maximum 250 employees)\nA frontrunner in the field of this year’s theme: thrive in uncertainty\n\n(NOTE: When nominating\, make sure you nominate all the CEO’s at the company and not just one) \nRound 2: Jury Selection. In early November\, our expert jury will evaluate all nominations and select 3 finalists. \nRound 3: Public Voting. In early November\, the community will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite finalist. \nAward Cocktail & Announcement \nIn collaboration with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Mexico\, we will announce the winner during an evening cocktail celebration. \nThis event is open to the entire Dutch Mexican business community.
