Day of the Entrepreneur 2025
Since its foundation, The Netherlands has been a nation of entrepreneurs. MKB Nederland, the driving force behind many Dutch SMEs, celebrates this every year through the “Day of the Entrepreneur”, on the third Friday of November.
Holland House Mexico is joining the festivities by electing for the 7th consecutive time the ”HHM Entrepreneur of the Year”. The winner will be announced during a celebratory cocktail on Thursday 20 November, organized in collaboration with the Embassy of the Netherlands in Mexico. Make sure to RVSP at the bottom of this page!**
The celebrative cocktail on 20 November is open to all persons in the Dutch-Mexican business community that are ready to celebrate Entrepreneurship!
When? Thursday 20 November
Where? Residence of the Ambassador. Sierra Fría 670, Lomas de Chapultepec
What time? 18.30 – 21.30 hrs
The traditional election of the ‘HHM Entrepreneur of the Year’ is phased in three rounds. The nomination and selection rounds are now concluded. On Thursday 30 October, our expert jury met to select the three finalists from all nominees. As in previous years, it was very inspiring to get to know each candidate’s personal story of entrepreneurship in Mexico.
The jury focused on three aspects: Consolidation of the Business, Innovation, Sustainable Impact. The finalists for the 2025 Entrepreneur of the Year Award are:
- Alfonso Teramoto Lemus & Diederik Smits Brouwers (Gruner)
- Juan Carlos Luna (CK Orlix)
- Mario Kok (Sistemas de Fachadas)
